Kathleen and Jess were one of those unfortunate COVID couples (Jenny's brother was one!) who had to reschedule their wedding, and even change their venue, multiple times. Stargazed came on board for iteration #3 of the wedding plan, and the third time was the charm for Kathleen and Jess's perfect fall wedding in Jess's hometown of Aspen.

The couple settled on Aspen Meadows Resort in Aspen, Colorado, for their wedding venue, which boasts a gorgeous view of Shadow Mountain for the ceremony backdrop.

Their day was full of thoughtful details. The bride, a talented artist, painted sweet botanical icons that were beautifully transformed by Hazel Eye Designs into invitations, table numbers, and escort cards. The floral motif was carried throughout the expertly curated collection of blush bridesmaid dresses. The Aspen Branch, an Aspen-based floral designer, made the perfect setting even more spectacular with her lush design in rich pastels with pops of fall colors. The bridal party got ready at the groom's parents' Aspen home before an epic First Look in a field surrounded by fall's bright yellow aspen leaves. 

Aspen Branch softened the lines of Aspen Meadows Resort's McNulty Ballroom with greenery, a hedge wall behind the head table, and some sparkling chandeliers. The gorgeous floral centerpieces, loaded with blush and lavender roses and accented with touches of burnt orange berries, were enhanced with fall fruits laid artfully on tables. 

After a delicious dinner served by the Aspen Meadows Resort, friends and family joyfully toasted the couple before guests danced the night away. The bride's famous chocolate chip-M&M cookies even made an appearance on the dessert buffet. Kathleen and her bridesmaids baked them with love in the days before the wedding.
