Behind the
I’m Jenny — owner, lead planner, and the beating heart behind Stargazed Weddings and Events. At my core, I’m someone who believes that beauty and meaning deserve equal space — in weddings, in relationships, and in the way we move through the world.
I discovered a love for event planning through my love of music. My mother instilled in me a deep appreciation for the arts, surrounding me with classical music throughout my childhood. After studying music at Penn State, I followed my passion for music into the nonprofit world and spent ten years producing fundraising events. It was during my time with the Aspen Music Festival and School that I discovered a new passion for Wedding Planning, inspired by connections with other creative talents in the area.
As a star-gazer, a Cancer, and an Enneagram 2, my empathetic nature ensures that your wedding or event reflects you in a way that feels both creative and authentic.

Our attention to detail and our extensive experience working in Aspen and Vail venues make us experts in our field. Furthermore, we produce a limited number of weddings each year to guarantee plenty of one-on-one time with our clients. .

Our magic lies in bringing together the right combination of vendors and creating the ideal conditions for them to do their absolute best work. You won't hear many planners asking vendors "How can I make your job easier?" but it's important to us that our vendor partners have all the resources they need to succeed.

There are very few “shoulds” at Stargazed Weddings! We say honor tradition when it feels right, and throw out the rest of the expectations! You and your partner can invent your own traditions! We'll support you in creating a day that feels authentic to you.

We nerd out on the logistics. When it comes to complex weddings, and especially tented weddings, logistics and load-ins are puzzles we can’t wait to solve!
Whether I'm sketching with charcoals, admiring the local view of Mt. Sopris, or styling flatlays to capture a couple's gorgeous details, I appreciate beauty wherever I find it.
Silly comedies like Anchorman, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Detroiters, What We Do in the Shadows. ...and singing musical theater at the top of my lungs.
Easy. My niece and nephew who live in D.C.
IPA all dayyy! Or a mezcal cocktail. Recently, I've started exploring NA spirits and beers. (We love mocktails and NA options at weddings!) As for food, just about anything my mom cooks.
Do I have to pick just one? First, design: creating an environment that reflects a couple's style with sophistication, texture, color, and great details — something I couldn't do without Number Two... Getting to know my couples and what makes them unique.
